Woodsy Owl Weekend Cancelled and other announcements

Announcements by SPL Evan Lucas from October 10 meeting

  1. Due to the lack of adults able to camp the entire weekend, the Woodsy Owl camping weekend (Oct. 14-16) is cancelled. Please volunteer if you can in the future so that we do not have to do this in the future.
  2. The Fall Camporee with be from October 21-23. More information will be provided, but the Army National Guard will be there demonstrating numerous things which will make it an exciting weekend camping event.

    Important: NOTIFY your Troop Leader by Wednesday evening, 10/12 if you will be attending (Scouts and Parents).

    The troop is paying the fee for all attending Scouts, so a count is critical.
  3. NEXT MEETING:
    Lashings – taught by Christian – bring rope!!!
    Merit badge requirements – bring your merit badge homework
    Bring ideas for Pittsburgh day trip – some ideas so far: Incline, historical restaurant, Ft. Pitt, Boy Scout store, Rita’s, Carnegie Science Center
