Please check with John Whitford regarding your unit’s status for recharter. Most units need some leaders to complete Youth Protection Training or to update their record with Pat at the office.

National Jamboree is filling up… please check with your scouts to see who may want to attend.

2013 Jamboree Information Day

On Saturday, January 21^st from 2 to 3 pm at the Council Service Center there  will be an open house for  all interested youth and adults that want to learn more about the national jamboree.   

Come and meet one of the scoutmasters, Terry Groth, who will help to lead our contingency.  Terry is currently the Lodge chief Advisor for the Order of the Arrow.  He has served as a Den Leader, Cubmaster, troop committee member and Assistant Scoutmaster.  He also serves on the King Beaver District committee.  He is a board member for Concord United Methodist church, an advisor for the 4-H club and a member of the Beaver county Chamber of Commerce.  Terry is presently the Scoutmaster of troop 721.

Boy Scout Troop 743, Committee Meeting Minutes, January 3, 2012

Meeting started 7:05 pm at First Alliance Church.

Members in attendance: Colleen Chamberlain, Phillip Lucas, Doug Moon, Marilyn Moon and Donna Matuch. Scouts were Evan Lucas and CJ Beaman.

Financial: No major changes from prior month. Balance is approximately $7,457. More emphasis will be made towards payment of dues.

Senior Patrol Leader will be required to present agendas for next 4 Monday night meetings! Reminder date: January 1, 2012
