On Saturday, January 21st from 2 to 3 pm at the Council Service Center there will be an open house for all interested youth and adults that want to learn more about the national jamboree.
Come and meet one of the scoutmasters, Terry Groth, who will help to lead our contingency. Terry is currently the Lodge chief Advisor for the Order of the Arrow. He has served as a Den Leader, Cubmaster, troop committee member and Assistant Scoutmaster. He also serves on the King Beaver District committee. He is a board member for Concord United Methodist church, an advisor for the 4-H club and a member of the Beaver county Chamber of Commerce. Terry is presently the Scoutmaster of troop 721.
There are only 20 spots left----DON’T DELAY! March 23rd, 2012 a $150.00 per person fee is due to the council Service Center. This is mandatory to participate, as the council must pay a NONREFUNDABLE deposit to the Summit. Payments must be made on time to hold your son’s slot as we typically have a waiting list to attend.
Please call Cindy and let us know how many will be attending the information day.
For additional information contact the contingency leaders directly---terry Groth at 724.843.8086 email terry.groth@yahoo.com or Kevin Goliwas at 814.442.1226 email kgoliwas@keystonedrill.com.
