Any more pictures from the Ryan Farm this weekend?

Any more from this weeked? Please send em to the troop email address: patroop743@gmail.com right away!

FYI, I will be creating an online photo album for as many events as we can get pictures, and then be able to share from there. Once I get it set up, we can set up albums for past events as well. I'll upload all I've got since we've been here (2008), to get us started.

Please email pictures from the Ryan Farm Weekend!

Please email as many pics as you can to PATroop743@gmail.com over the weekend. Try to put a caption, and I will post them to the troop Website.
I will provide a link to an album where contributors can download full-sized originals to print or use.

Thanks!

Earthquake Notification Service

The Earthquake Notification Service (ENS) is a free service that sends you automated notification emails when earthquakes happen in your area.

Earthquakes - What to do!

Image of Virginia earthquake via USGS
The earthquake which struck on Tuesday, August 23, was literally a shock to many of us. The effects of the quake, which struck near Mineral, Virginia, were felt over 500 miles north in Toronto, and 400 miles west in Columbus, Ohio. We ARE vulnerable in the New Castle area.

Two questions we should ask:
  1. How should we prepare before it happens again?
  2. How should we respond during an earthquake?

The meeting started at 7:05 pm, at St. Camillus Church with the following adult members in attendance:  Marilyn Moon, Doug Moon, Colleen Chamberlain, Gary Wolford, Betsy Wolford, Nathan Teodoro, Phillip Lucas, Scott Bussard and Donna Matuch. Logan Teodoro and Jonathan Wherry represented the scouts.

Financial:  Current balance in account is $6,746.67.  There is approximately $2,000 in the boy’s accounts and $750 in the Eagle Scout project account.  Due to problems with the troop ledger, the exact amounts were not available. The problem should be resolved by the next meeting.

Way behind on updates here - look for them shortly

Good afternoon, and happy Sunday. The JeepFest fundraiser seemed to be a decent success, and the boys and parents seemed to have a good time. It was an interesting Friday evening, and, after a slow start, the JeepFest picked up. I heard from another parent that there were around 400 Jeeps or Willys there. And, hopefully you enjoyed the pics that were posted. I will sort through the rest, and put them into an album.
