Old Business:

Youth Protection Training was attended by the following adults: Steve Craig, Debbie Beaman, two Cub Scout parents. Amy Na has completed the training online as well as completed an adult registration form.

We are looking for parents to act as adult supervisors for the boy’s positions and the patrols. Colleen has volunteered for the Dragon Patrol.

After-action:

Gary reported on the Stand-down for the Veterans (9/10). Although it rained and scouts were limited, the veteran turnout for the event was less than expected. The veterans were extremely grateful for our help. This event will be on the calendar for next year.

Colleen reported about the Bike-aboard (9/18). The weather was cooperative and the 11 ½ mile bike trip and train ride were enjoyable. All the boys attending got a souvenir patch.

Donna reported on the National Public Lands Day at Jennings (9/24). All boys were eager to help with the trail maintenance. We also had a cub scout, Nicholas, and his dad join us. A buffet lunch and t-shirts were provided to attendees.

Important dates for popcorn: October 24- Popcorn sales due to the troop, November 12-Popcorn delivery (at Classico), December 7-Popcorn order payments due. Next year the troop may offer incentives for top sellers as well as make plans for a Show and Sell event.

Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, CJ provided a list of upcoming events and agendas for the next month. Christian was commended for his note-taking and follow-up emails.
