Just a reminder that the boys voted to cancel Monday's meeting since there is no school that day.  We will continue to meet at St. Camillus through the end of December, so we will see you on December 5.  Have your voices ready to practice Christmas Carols...our meeting on December 12 will be at the Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care in New Wilmington, so our meeting on December 5 will be filled with song!!

Committee Meeting Minutes 11/1/11

The meeting started at 7:02 pm, at St. Camillus Church with the following adult members in attendance: Colleen Chamberlain, Gary Wolford, Nathan Teodoro and Donna Matuch. Evan Lucas attended the meeting on behalf of the scouts.

The meeting began with some overall website training by Nathan. Colleen, Gary, Donna and Nathan will be able to make entries into the website in the future. The website is a work in progress and many people are interested in the content of the site. Any suggestions for improvement are graciously accepted.

Financial: Treasurer’s report was not provided for this meeting.
After-action:

  • Colleen reported on the participation for the Shelter 5K and Haunted Cheeseman’s Farm. Both events had a small turnout but scouts had a good time.
  • The Camporee at Agawam had a favorable turnout and turkey meal was delicious!
  • Donna reported on the Halloween meeting at the Matuch home. Due to the weather conditions, the event was moved indoors, but the boys enjoyed themselves.
  • Thanks to the Ryan’s for the wood for the fire and all the parents for joining in the festivities.
  • Gary reported on the popcorn sales which were dismal. Sales for the troop were $1,615 with profit for the troop at $549.
    Important dates for popcorn:
    November 11-Popcorn delivery (at Classico)
    December 5-Popcorn order payments due.

Next year the troop may offer incentives for top sellers as well as make plans for a Show and Sell event.
